EMILIA SERRANO
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Emilia refuses to be genre specific about what she writes, watches, works on, and eats. Raised in a bilingual home by a mariachi singing mom and a mechanic dad, her multigenerational household encouraged Emilia to explore her creativity and curiosity—and she hasn’t stopped exploring.
Her previous career as an Advertising Creative Director and Brand Consultant, Emilia traveled the country helping ad agencies win business, curate brand experiences, and strategize their business model to gain momentum.
Then she wanted to play in another world. After a long career as an Emmy-nominated TV and film writer in Los Angeles, Emilia is now setting roots in Austin to help 26 Keys in the writers’ room, and to strategize new avenues of creative development for Kyle and Noah Hawley. She has many television shows and films under her belt, her first television job was on Noah’s ABC drama, “My Generation.” She’s come full circle by entering the 26 Keys playground as an EP/Writer across the company’s TV slate, and bringing her love of storytelling to incoming film projects.
Emilia’s love of SWATCH watches and MTV t-shirts is tolerated by her husband and children. She is also an avid soccer player when her knees give permission.
